Lighting control for custom homes in Bend

Every room, set to the moment

We design, wire and program dimmers, keypads, shades and scenes for new custom homes and remodels in Central Oregon, so a room changes from the wall as easily as from a phone.

Room by room

Pick a room to see its scenes

Every room gets scenes for how it is used: bright to cook, low to eat, a soft path of light at night.

What we install

Light, shades and the wiring behind them

One plan for every circuit in the house, drawn with you and the builder before anything is cut.

  • Dimmers and scenes

Every circuit on a dimmer, grouped into scenes you name: Cook, Dinner, Movie, Night.

    How it works
  • Keypads and touch panels

Engraved keypads where your hand lands, in the box height you chose at framing.

  • Motorized shades

Pockets, power and wiring planned with the window headers, and shades timed to the sun.

  • Night paths and schedules

Low light from bed to bathroom, and outdoor lights that follow a dusk timer.

  • Network and low-voltage

Network, speaker and camera runs, all home-run to one closet with room to grow.

  • Service and reprogramming

We take on systems installed by others, after a look at the panel and the wiring.

For builders

At framing, the walls are open and every change is cheap

Send us the plan set when the framing goes up. We mark the walls, you keep your schedule.

Pre-wire checklist, framing stage

  • Keypad and dimmer boxes marked on the studs at the height the owner chose

  • Deep boxes where several dimmers share one wall

  • A neutral wire at every switch box

  • Low-voltage runs kept apart from line voltage

  • Shade pockets and header depths checked against the motor

  • One closet for the network and control panel, with room to grow

  • Photos of every wall before drywall, with cables labeled at both ends

New build or existing house

Pre-wired or retrofit: what changes

Both give you dimming and scenes. The difference is how much of the wall we can open.

What clients say about the scenes and the schedule

“Our kitchen and the two halls next to it go from bright to dinner-party low with one button. Jun walked the plan with us before the walls closed, so every keypad is where we reach.”

Phyllis M.Homeowner, Awbrey Butte

“They sent a one-page pre-wire list the week we framed. Our electrician and their installer worked from the same sheet, and the shade pockets were right the first time.”

Gino E.General contractor

“The bedroom now comes up slowly in the morning instead of all at once. The night path to the bathroom is the part my kids noticed first.”

Rasheeda H.Homeowner, Northwest Crossing

Questions

Before you call

Can you add dimming and scenes to a house that is already built?

Yes, in most houses. Wireless dimmers and keypads go into your existing switch boxes, and we check each box first because some older ones have no neutral wire. Shades and outdoor lights may need new wire where a wall is already open.

When should a builder call you?

When the framing goes up, and no later than before the electrician's rough-in is inspected. That is when keypad boxes, shade pockets and low-voltage runs can still be placed without opening a finished wall.

What if the internet goes down?

Dimmers and keypads should keep working from the wall. We design the system so scenes run from the keypads and not from a cloud account, and we tell you before the quote which parts, if any, need a connection.

What does it cost?

It depends on the number of circuits and keypads, how many windows get shades, and whether the walls are open. After a walk-through of the house or the plan set we write a scope and a quote you can compare line by line.

Do you do emergency work?

No. We are a planned-work firm and there is no after-hours line. If you smell burning or see sparks, scorching or water near wiring, turn off the breaker if it is safe and call 911 for fire. For a lighting system that has stopped responding, call in office hours.
